Reviews are moderated before publication to help keep the directory useful, fair, and credible. The purpose of moderation is to maintain the quality of the resource—not to remove legitimate criticism or favor businesses listed in the directory.

Who May Leave a Review
Reviews should come from people who have had a genuine, first-hand experience with the business or professional being reviewed.
A reviewer should describe their own experience rather than repeat information heard from another person. Reviews should relate to services actually requested, provided, quoted, or otherwise directly experienced by the reviewer.
Reviews We Accept
Both positive and negative reviews are welcome when they are based on a genuine experience and written in a factual, constructive manner.
Helpful reviews may discuss communication, responsiveness, professionalism, quality of work, timeliness, value, project management, problem resolution, or other relevant aspects of the service provided.
A review does not need to be favorable to the business in order to be published.
Reviews We Do Not Accept
Reviews may be withheld, rejected, or removed when they contain spam, advertising, promotional links, harassment, threats, discriminatory language, personal attacks, private information, or unrelated content.
Reviews should describe the reviewer’s own experience. Statements presented as fact about matters the reviewer could not reasonably know or verify may be withheld from publication.
Reviews submitted by a business about itself, its owners, employees, affiliated companies, or competitors are not permitted.
Reviews that are purchased, incentivized, exchanged for discounts or compensation, or otherwise manipulated are not permitted.
Review Moderation
All reviews are held for moderation before appearing publicly.
Moderation is intended to enforce the standards described on this page while allowing legitimate positive and negative experiences to be shared.
ttArch may remove inappropriate links, obvious spam, or minor formatting problems. The meaning or substance of a legitimate review will not be materially altered.
Publication of a review does not mean that ttArch has independently verified every statement contained in the review.
Business Responses
When practical, businesses may be given an opportunity to respond to published reviews.
Business responses are subject to the same expectations for professionalism, factual content, privacy, and respectful communication.
A disagreement with a reviewer does not, by itself, provide a reason to remove a review.
Community Reviewed
A provider may be identified as Community Reviewed when qualifying community reviews have been published for that business.
Community Reviewed indicates that people have shared first-hand experiences with the provider through the ttArch Home Services Directory.
It does not mean that ttArch independently endorses the business or guarantees the experiences described by reviewers.
Verified
A Verified designation means that ttArch has confirmed certain core information associated with the provider.
Depending on the business, this may include items such as business identity, contact information, website, service area, or other applicable information.
Verification does not represent a guarantee of workmanship, future performance, licensing status, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, pricing, availability, or the accuracy of information after the date it was reviewed.
Users should independently verify any information important to their hiring decision.
ttArch Recommended
A ttArch Recommended designation is separate from both community reviews and verification.
It indicates that I have personal experience with, professional familiarity with, or sufficient confidence in the provider to recommend them based on my own professional judgment.
A ttArch recommendation is not a warranty or guarantee of future workmanship, pricing, availability, project outcome, or performance.
Review Removal or Correction
A reviewer may contact ttArch if they believe their published review contains an error or requires clarification.
A business may also report a review that it believes violates this policy.
Reporting a review does not automatically result in removal. Reviews will be evaluated based on the standards described on this page.
ttArch may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, promotional, unrelated, legally problematic, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the directory.
Independent Hiring Decisions
The ttArch Home Services Directory is provided as an informational resource.
Homeowners, buyers, sellers, and property owners remain responsible for evaluating providers and making their own hiring decisions.
